Mum.

Only in the 60s could you get away with a
communion dress that short.

Edie

She comes in colours everywhere,

She combs her hair,

She's like a rainbow.

This is a video I made a while ago.

Edith Minturn Sedgwick.
One of the most interesting people I have ever read about.

She epitomises the 60s.

The moon.

"At the end of our path a licquescent
And nebulous lustre was born,
Out of which a miraculous crescent
Arose with a duplicate horn -
Arstarte's bediamonded crescent
Distinct with its duplicate horn"

- Poe, Ulalume. 1847.

Why 1965?

Without a doubt, 1965 is the greatest year that has ever been.
It is right in the middle of one of the most genius decades.

It was the year of Sir Winston Churchill's funeral,
the year Malcolm X was assassinated,
the year Bob Dylan went electric.

Pop culture was at its finest.
Edie was at the Factory.
The Rolling Stones toured world wide.
'Like a Rolling Stone' was released.

This blog could be dedicated to no other year.
...that being said, it will not only be dedicated to this year but also life, music and fantastic era's in general.
