Today one of the greatest comedians died. Rik Mayall was one of the most important comedians to me, I saw the Young Ones when I was 5 and shortly after Drop Dead Fred, which I watched every night for a year. His physical comedy and illusions of grandeur were uncanny and in his field he truly was, as he claimed, "Bigger than Hitler, Better than Christ". Rest in Peace Rik.
